Egypt's women's beach volleyball team won the gold medal at the African Games in Morocco, which will run until August 31st, with the participation of 54 African countries.
Egypt's Farida Al-Ashkalani and Doaa Ghabashi defeated Kenya on Tuesday in the final, which was held on the beach of The Moroccan city of Salé, 21-14 and 21-15.
Egypt went up to the final, following a 2-0 victory over Mauritius this morning, 21-12, 21-19 in the semi-finals.
With this gold, the Egyptian mission's tally of participation in this tournament has so far increased to nine medals with 5 golds and 4 bronzes.
The Egyptian mission, which includes 298 players, will compete in 24 games.
