Competition between the big clubs for the services of Brazilian star Neymar da Silva continues to rage, especially after the player insisted on not completing his career with his French team Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spanish newspaper "As" reported that the conflict between Real Madrid and Barcelona continues, but a third party entered the line of negotiations with the player.
She added that Juventus began negotiations with the French capital team, in an attempt to win the deal.
"The Italian administration is heavily involved in the negotiations headed by Fabio Baratisi, Juventus' sporting director, as Neymar has been guaranteed the same annual salary that he currently receives with Saint-Germain," the sources said.
She added that Baratisi reached out to the Paris club's sporting director and offered him a sum of money in addition to the team's player Paulo Dybala.
The Bianconeri administration was about to give up Dybala's services for Tottenham Hotspur for 86 million euros, but the deal failed.
Earlier this month, French sources revealed that 27-year-old Neymar was trying to put pressure on French team officials in order to facilitate his departure from the club.
Paris Saint-Germain is reported to want more than 200 million pounds (about 222 million euros) in exchange for Neymar's dismissal.
In the summer of 2017, Neymar moved to Paris from Barcelona, in a record deal of €222 million, making him the most expensive player in the world.
