Manchester United issued a statement about their French star Paul Pogba, following yesterday's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton in the second round of the Premier League.
Paul Pogba wasted a penalty for Manchester United in the match and was subjected to a heavy attack on social media.
"Everyone at Manchester United is disgusted by the racist abuse that targeted Paul Pogba yesterday," the Red Devils said in the statement.
"Everyone who expresses these opinions does not represent the values of our great club, and it is encouraging to see the vast majority of our fans on social media condemning it," he said.
"Manchester United does not tolerate any form of racism or discrimination," the statement continued.
"We will work to identify and crack down on the few involved in this incident, and encourage social media groups to take a similar stance," he said.
